RegisterWhere: Anywhere you like! Whether it’s outdoors, indoors, at the gym, in the pool, or in your living room – every step or stretch counts! Choose your physical activity: Find what feels best for you. Some ideas include: running, walking, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, yoga, or even dancing! Tip: You don’t have to complete it all at once. Track your progress and work toward a cumulative distance or time over the challenge period. *You only need to complete the sub-events you registered for – whether it’s 5km, 10km, 30 mins, or 60 mins – ONCE during the February 13–28 challenge period. Fundraising for Women’s Heart Health Be a women’s heart health champion! Fundraise as an individual or as part of a team to support the Wear Red Canada campaign and help fund important programs that educate and advocate for women’s heart health in Canada. After registering, you’ll receive a unique fundraising link to collect online donations. Want to support without participating? Use the ‘Donate to Participant’ option to contribute to an individual or team’s efforts. Why women’s heart health? Heart disease is the number one killer of women worldwide and the leading cause of premature death in women in Canada. Globally, cardiovascular diseases affect 1 out of 3 women, yet women everywhere are Under-studied, Under-diagnosed, Under-treated, and Under-aware. It doesn’t have to be this way. With the right information and action, it’s possible to prevent heart disease or improve your chances of surviving it to lead a healthy life.
